With over 25 years of experience in the diving industry, Shaff Naeem is your trusted partner for private scuba diving courses, captivating underwater photography, expert diver instruction for private yachts, and reliable business consultations for dive centers.
I’m an ex-military dive instructor and recreational Instructor Trainer. My extensive expertise and deep passion for diving have taken me on incredible journeys underwater. I have trained hundreds of divers, ranging from beginners taking their first breaths underwater to seasoned professionals, including the Maldivian Coast Guard, Special Forces, and Marines.
Diving is not just a profession for me; it’s a lifelong passion. My curiosity and exploration have led me to explore the breathtaking reefs and the deep cave systems of the Maldives, allowing me to gain profound insights into the mesmerizing marine ecosystem unique to the region.
My expertise has been recognized internationally and have been invited to share my invaluable knowledge at prestigious events such as the annual Asia Dive Expo in Singapore. My experience at the Tek Conference has provided him with a platform to inspire and educate fellow diving enthusiasts.
Additionally, I have been taking underwater photos for over 15 years. My photographs have been published in renowned underwater publications worldwide. And earned me accolades from the Maldives Tourism Promotion Board, including the prestigious awards for First and Second in the Underwater category ad Best of Show in 2007.
In 2022, I did a continuous 50-hour scuba dive, “Ocean Six Fifty”, in the Maldives. It is now considered an Asian Record.
